Description:
Write a formal proposal outlining your project and listing your group members, if applicable. Include a working thesis, rough outline of the main points you would like to cover, and attach a working bibliography of outside sources you intend to investigate as well as a written evaluation of one online source. The finished proposal should be about 3 double-spaced, typed pages.
The text of the proposal will outline your plan.  You should plan to spend several hours exploring various sources before preparing this proposal. (Each member of a group should prepare a separate proposal explaining that member's particular assigned roles.)

• Working Thesis (10 points) What do you think your main argument will be?  This is something you can change as you complete the project, but you need to do enough research to make this a viable thesis. student with books
• Rough Outline (10 points) What are the main points you think you will be covering?  Like the working thesis, this can change as you complete the project.

• Working Bibliography (10 points) This should be a long list of potential sources in complete MLA format.  You should have more sources than you will ultimately use in the project.  Remember to list the novel and the films as some of your sources.

• Evaluation of Online Source (10 points) Write a short evaluation of at least one online resource based on the criteria found at the following link: http://www.library.cornell.edu/olinuris/ref/research/webcrit.html

• Text of the Proposal (10 points) This should be one to two double-spaced, typed pages, carefully edited, and should systematically summarize what you intend to do for this project.  If you are working as a part of a group, you need to summarize what the group intends to do and itemize your specific role(s) and duties in the group.
