Emad Arasteh is an assistant professor in Fowler School of Engineering at Chapman University. He received his Ph.D. degree in computer engineering from University of California, Irvine and M.Sc. degree in electronic design from Lund University in Sweden. Previously, he worked as a hardware and software engineer at leading semiconductor companies in Sweden and USA, including ARM, Ericsson, Canon (Axis Communications), and Samsung.
His research interests include system-level modeling and design of embedded systems, deep neural networks, programming models for processing-in-memory, and Internet of Things (IoT).
Emad Arasteh was named Inaugural Fletcher Jones Foundation Faculty Fellow for his research on hardware/software co-design for computation-in-memory architectures in 2022.
