Directions for taking the tram.
The best way to get to the conference from the hotels will be to
take tram 9 from Wenceslas Square. The tram stop is on Vodickova
Street (about half way down Wenceslas Square, on the left as you head away from
the Museum). The tram runs from
Wenceslas Square to VSE about every five
minutes. Get off the tram at Husinecká
and then walk a short way back the way you came on Seifertova Street toward Namesti Winstona Churchilla (Winston
Churchill Square). Here you will see
the entrance to VSE.

You will need a 12
CZK ticket, available in the metro stations or from most kiosks on the
street that sell magazines. I recommend that you buy a multi-day pass for your entire
stay.
Once you get to VSE, go in the front entrance, then up the stairs to the glass
entry to the hall where this room is.
The walk to VSE is uphill half the way and downhill half the way,
and should take 20-30 minutes. Here is a map with the walking route highlighted.
Directions: Walk up
Wenceslas Square toward the Museum.
Enter the Museum metro station to go under Wilsonova
Street, and exit next to the Museum on Vinohradska. Follow Vinohradska
away from the Museum to Italská Street. Turn left on Italská
and follow Italská until you reach Namesti Winstona Churchilla (Winston Churchill Square) and VSE. Once you get to
VSE, go in the front entrance, then up the
stairs to the glass entry to the hall where this
room is.
