Appendix D: Student Preparation Worksheet

Near the beginning of each chapter is a section titled “Students: Advance Preparation.” These sections are recommended reviews or new skills needed to complete the chapter. The work should be completed as soon as practically possible after beginning a new chapter. The five types of materials are:

1. Alteryx Videos: Official videos produced by Alteryx to accompany Alteryx Designer.

2. Other Videos: Videos produced independently, but provide useful instruction, step-by-step walkthroughs, etc.

3. Alteryx Reading: Official documentation and articles produced by Alteryx to accompany Alteryx Designer.

4. Other Reading: Articles and courses produced independently, but provide useful instruction, documentation, etc.

5. Tools Introduced: Link to Alteryx tool mastery pages for the new tools introduced in each chapter.
