Appendix D: Student Preparation Worksheet

Near the beginning of each chapter is a section titled “Students: Advance Preparation.” These sections are recommended reviews or new skills needed to complete the chapter. The work should be completed as soon as practically possible after beginning a new chapter. The four types of materials are:

1. Alteryx Videos: Official videos produced by Alteryx to accompany Alteryx Designer.

2. Other Videos: Videos produced independently, but provide useful instruction, step-by-step walkthroughs, etc.

3. Alteryx Reading: Official documentation and articles produced by Alteryx to accompany Alteryx Designer.

4. Other Reading: Articles and courses produced independently, but provide useful instruction, documentation, etc.

The author has prepared several videos. If this is your first exposure to regression, please consider watching all the videos.
