About Me

I'm currently a Sophomore Computer Science major here at Chapman and I've been spending a lot of time this syear learning Ubuntu Linux, Web Design, and Networking. I attended Ubuntu Live and OSCON 2007 in July, and had a blast. I've been working with the Ubuntu California LoCo, and we just exhibited at the Southern California Linux Expo.

Classes

I'm currently enrolled in these courses for the Spring 2008 Semester:

Interests and Side Projects

After reformatting my laptop's hard drive and installing Ubuntu during Spring Break, I've pretty much been Windows-free. I like reading a lot, lately it's been Philip K. Dick (Just finished The Man in the High Castle, which I highly recommend) and Fake Steve Jobs. I've been playing around with my own web server, and have learned basic Linux administration (along with HTML, CSS, and PHP) the hard way. I enjoy testing my limits, and really strive to progress and improve in every aspect of my life.

Ubuntu Linux California LoCo Team

I'm helping revive our Ubuntu LoCo (Local Community) team, and we've already got a pretty good response. Come join our irc channel, #ubuntu-california on irc.freenode.net (You can head here for a web-based interface: http://java.freenode.net//index.php?channel=ubuntu-california&&nick=your_name_here, just put in the nickname you'd like to use. You can also see our team wiki for more info
