I am a professor of computer science at Chapman University, California. My professional interests are in the areas of e-learning, object-oriented computing, programming languages, and computer science education. My previous research has been focused on parallel and distributed computing, functional and logic programming, data bases, and theory. My research has been supported with research grants from the National Science Foundation, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, and other agencies.

Throughout my career, I have taught and mentored various undergraduate and graduate students. Some of my innovative teaching experiences have been disseminated through professional publications. A number of my students, including undergraduate ones, have co-authored reviewed research papers; many have made presentations at computer science meetings. My pet project in the area of education is located at http://studypack.com.
