Here are a number of essay et al. that I have composed. And yes, they've all been spell-checked. Comments are always most-welcome, but no plagerising, please.

::Post-Modernism is probably dead, too
february 2002
This is actually an essay dealing with some of the issues in Salman Rushdie's novel The Satanic Verses, but I borrowed an element of Rushdie's style and only refered to his novel in a way that you'd understand if you'd read the book. The essay also pretends to be about post-modernism, but I hardly know enough about post-modernism to say if it really is or not. Mostly it's just exploring a lot of the things I feel about culture, thrift-stores and California. If you read anything on here, read this. ::

Visual Style in Waking Life
January 2003
I have the biggest crush on this movie. Maybe if it reads this essay, it will want to go out with me! ::

Where is life when the city is dead?
october 2002
Ok, the title sucks. But even if this essay is bad, at least it's original. It's kind of an examination of the Aztec society's total defeat by Cortez through the lens of Greek tragedy/existential philosophy. Hey, my teacher liked it.::

Why regulating the Internet is our last chance to save democracy
may 2001
Wow, I'm really good at really over-wrought titles, aren't I? This was my big research paper my senior year in high school, so it may be a little outdated, but its topic, the negative long-term social and political effects of broadband Internet is one that that doesn't get a lot of exposure. It's though-provoking at least.::
