It's bright and breezy today, but up ahead in the distance are clouds as dark as just-before-night, and black shadows cutting the black hills into opposite sides of yin and yang. Sorry about the lack of action around here, I've been busy and time has been acting weird.
I'm working on a summer project with some honors kids, the second issue of a journal I co-founded called Gabbo. The idea is that half a dozen or so of us are going to write about our summers as they happen, and then we'll edit everything, compile it chronologically and publish it as Gabbo Numero Dos. There's a weblog up now for the project that's I've started posting at, so if you want to read more of my exploits, as well as what anyone else who's working on Gabbo wants to write, head to:
www.gabboishere.blogspot.com

I've already used my computer way too much today. I'm going to go check the progress of the storm.
