You have found a number of small buildings
consisting of three or four rooms around a courtyard. These buildings contain vessels, many pottery sherds, small ovens and lots of animal bones. You recognize this
as the typical house style of Early Israelite settlers found at all
sites.
These two storey houses contian a courtyard
was where the animals were kept. People likely slept in the
surrounding rooms or, in the summer, on the roof. Is this house indication of domestic Israelite occupation?
