Railgunning is a mode of transportation that takes advantage of a revolutionary mobile light-propulsion system. Here's how it works:
Step 0
Fire your Railgun using the primary trigger, shooting a light orb forward. This is orb #0.
As the orb moves away from you, use the secondary trigger to "plot" the orb. The orb will stop its movement and hover. |

Step 1
Fire another orb and plot it when it is further away than the first orb. This is orb #1 |

Step 2
A rail is created between the two orbs. |

Step 3
You can now jump on the rail, and the rail will propel you forward in the direction that you plotted orb #1 in relation to orb #0. |

Step 4
You can shoot more orbs, and new tracks will be created automatically.
Use the rails to get from point A to point B more quickly than simply running. |

You don't always have to plot rails one at a time. Use the macro function to plot premade rail sections.

The HUD can tell you useful information about your RailGun.

The Red Battery Meter tells you how much damage you've sustained. When the battery is empty, your Robotic Combat System will crash. Normally, your robot is capable of recharging itself, but when damaged, you will not be able to recharge until 10 seconds of no further damage.
The Blue Battery Meter is your RailGun Power Level. Plotting single rails will not deplete it, but plotting macros slowly drains power. The meter will recharge. |

The RailGun meter gives information about your weapons system. The bottom window gives a hexidecimal readout of remaining ammunition.
The right window lets you know what macro you currently have selected.
The left window tells you the direction the rails are moving you in. If you switch polarity, it will take effect when you hit the next orb. |
