Below is a
ranking of the hotels that EAA has available when you
register for the EAA Congress. I have ranked them based on location first,
and other criteria such as cost, quality, and access to public transportation
second. I did not choose being near the
conference as a primary consideration.
Prague is a small city, so staying near the city center and the sights,
restaurants, and shops is recommended.
The public transportation in Prague is excellent, so you can stay just
about anywhere and get to the conference.
You will only be going to the conference once a day, but you will be
going into the city many times, so I have selected hotels that are within
walking distance of the city center. The
two best areas to stay in are around Old Town Square (Staromestske
Namesti) and Wenceslas Square (Vaclavske
Namesti). Old
Town Square is a slightly better location, but a little further from the
conference, so I gave preference to hotels in the Wenceslas Square area.
