    Sometimes, surveys are conducted face-to-face, with an interviewer asking questions from the questionnaire and recording the responses.  Typically, this results in a higher response rate, but it costs much more than a mail survey.

    We'll devote some attention to the impoct that the interviewer can have on the responses given in an interview survey.  We'll see how to minimize that impact.

    Finally, we'll talk a little about how to train and supervise a team of interviewers in a large survey.
