| DEAN
The Dean of University College reports
to the Provost and is a member of the Council of Deans. The dean
is the chief executive officer of University College and is responsible
for all aspects of its operations, including budget, program management,
curriculum, outreach and personnel. The four regional Associate
Deans and the Directors of Administrative Operations and Extended
Learning and a small central staff report directly to the Dean.
The Dean is expected to represent University College to internal
and external audiences and to lead the development of new initiatives
within the context of the University Mission and The Chapman Plan.
