Description

PC Technology Specialist – Word Processing features 13 Interactive Lessons and +20 Hands-On, Step-By-Step Lab exercises on Creating, Editing, Formatting, Publishing and Proofreading Documents.

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Identify and Apply PC Technology Word Processing Fundamentals

  • Demonstrate the Ability to Use Features in Word Processing Programs to Help Create, Edit, Format, and Proofread Documents

  • Navigate, Manipulate, and Publish Documents on the Web.

  • Use the Ribbon with the Mouse or the Keyboard to Perform Everyday Tasks

  • Learn the Essentials for Creating a Wide Variety of Documents

  • Work with Tools to Input and Edit Text, Tables, Graphics, etc.

  • Create Customized Letters, Labels, and Envelopes

  • Organize Information and Add Impact with Clip Art, SmartArt Diagrams,Tables, Columns, Outlines and Charts

  • Collaborate with Others by Using Shared Workspaces and Information

  • Create documents more efficiently using a new results-oriented interface
