Description

Applied PC Technology – Networking & Peripherals features 30 Interactive Lessons and +20 Hands-On, Step-By-Step Lab exercises on practical demonstration skills of diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing PC Networks, Security, and Peripherals using the Latest PC Equipment.

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Use Tools and Diagnostic Procedures to Troubleshoot Network Problems

  • Perform Preventive Maintenance of Networks including Securing and Protecting Network Cabling

  • Install and Configure Software, Wireless and Data Security

  • Identify Tools, Diagnostic Procedures and Troubleshooting Techniques for Security

  • Identify Appropriate Tools used for Troubleshooting and Repairing Printer / Scanner Problems

  • Isolate and Resolve Identified Printer / Scanner Problems including Defining the Cause, Applying the Fix and Verifying Functionality
