It was my belief that career-oriented individuals could be motivated to higher levels of career satisfaction and success using a combination of time proven motivational and career development techniques in a team environment. To test that belief I developed the Team-Based Career Coaching Course^© and have strived to make it affordable for goal oriented individuals annually since 1994. The course has more than exceeded my expectations. The course was designed using a Teach - Demonstrate - Do format and includes the following proven motivational elements:

• Career Coaching

The course is designed for career-oriented men and women who are willing to spend significant time and energy to advance their careers. The commitment is for 10 weeks during which course members will be expected to complete: three hours in class; three hours working with their coach and team; and two to three hours of homework each week.

Participants become members of teams with six to eight members. Each team has an experienced career coach. Team members select a name for their team and write a contract stating clearly how they will support their team, each other and their individual commitment to the course.

The course goes into depth on all aspects of career development and success from assessment instruments, including the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, job search strategies, the development of a five-year career plan including a mission statement, milestones and performance objectives. In effect, it is the most comprehensive career development course available anywhere at any price.
