David Asplund, M. M.

Mr.  Asplund is a composer and arranger of children’s choral and classroom music. He has authored Projects in Sound, and co-authored Let’s Do It Again, and From Hay Rides to Sleigh Rides. Most recent publications include Ring the Bells for Christmas and Holiday Songs and Play A-Longs. Mr. Asplund received his M.A. from Pacific Lutheran University and completed two master’s classes following his Orff Schulwerk Teacher Training at Hamline University. He has taught teacher training courses at Hofstra University, University of British Columbia, University of Idaho, Seattle Pacific University, and at other workshops throughout North America. He has presented sessions at the Canadian and U.S. National Orff Schulwerk Conferences. Mr. Asplund is currently the Director of Orff Schulwerk Teacher Training Courses at Seattle Pacific University.
