Each of the four courses of the CMA Learning System begins with a unique, online self-assessment readiness tool and combines printed study materials with online, interactive testing and classroom sessions to deliver a comprehensive and customized learning experience in management accounting.

  • Trial Exam. Full exam-part simulated practice tests. Includes an exam-part test that is fully representative of the total questions in the actual exam-part (i.e. 110 questions in parts 1 and 3; 140 questions in part 2), in the exact proportion by section (i.e. 25% section A, 20% section B, etc.). Use this option as a pre- or post-test as often as needed.
  • Section quizzes. Section quizzes, found in parts 1, 2, and 3, allow you to check your understanding and retention of materials. For each question, you are provided feedback with an explanation as to why a particular response is the correct response.
  • eFlashcards. Review and test your knowledge of the CMA glossary of terms. Based on your individual preference, you can choose to either define a term or identify a term based on definition.
  • Comprehensive essay writing support. These tips help you understand how to write an essay response for part 4 of the CMA exam. Includes good-better-best examples of essay questions and answers to show how the ICMA grading guide is used. Essay questions from all four parts of the exam challenge you to synthesize the information you have learned from parts 1, 2, 3, and 4.
  • Unique part 4 online practice test. Includes a multiple-choice quiz feature that allows you to review and check your understanding of calculations and terms from parts 1, 2 and 3. Presents 22 additional essay questions with responses that relate to content from all four parts.
  • Grading reports. Individuals and course instructors can track course progress through the grade report feature that includes scores on full exam-part tests and section quizzes by date.
  • Qualified instructors. To reinforce key points and keep you on track for success.
  • Peer network. Developed while you learn in a group environment.
  • Certificate of course completion. Earned from Chapman University College.
