FAQ
Will my financial aid apply for these courses?
Students are eligible to receive financial aid for all online degree courses.
How much time is required to complete an online course?
Online courses follow the same 9-week session schedule as all CUC campuses. Although there are not a required number of hours needed to complete an online course, students should expect to participate in the course weekly. Most online courses are 3 units. A good rule of thumb is to plan on devoting the 45 hours required for any 3-unit college course and 90 hours typical of study time.
Is there a particular time to attend an online course?
Students are welcome to login starting the first day of the session and can login to the course at their discretion. Some courses do have live chats, which require students to be online at a particular time. Students are expected to review the course syllabus carefully for course-specific requirements.
How do I enroll for online courses?
Enroll for online courses through WebAdvisor. Be sure to select campus 292 as your campus location.
How will I get information about my online courses?
E-mails will be sent to your student e-mail account containing all information about your online course including your course login and Web site information.
What if I forgot my username and password?
All students enrolled in online degree courses are assigned a Chapman e-mail account. If you forgot your username or password contact Chapman’s computer helpdesk at helpdesk@chapman.edu or by phone at 714-997-6600.
