Description
Wireless Networking features 12
Interactive Lessons and 55+ Hands-On, Step-By-Step Lab exercises on
practical demonstration of Computer Networking skills using the Latest
Wireless Network Equipment.
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
-
understand wireless network concepts (Wi-Fi Networks);
-
know the benefits and disadvantages of wireless
networking;

distinguish the different types of wireless network
technology;
-
determine system and networking requirements;
-
discover wireless standards and network configurations;
-
understand wireless network security, speeds and coverage
area;
-
install, configure, and troubleshoot a wireless network
adapter;

install, configure and monitor an available wireless
network;
-
add, remove and troubleshoot a preferred wireless
network;
-
create and troubleshoot a PC-to-PC Network;
-
set up and configure host and client PCs;
-
administer a wireless network account, information and
devices;
-
secure, manage, and monitor a wireless network;
-
connect and chat on remote wireless networks (Wi-Fi
hotspots);

connect and configure different types of wireless
devices;

improve, increase and monitor a wireless network range;

troubleshoot a wireless network by utilizing diagnostic
tools; and

monitor and configure wireless network connections.
