- The use of the Media Room and its equipment is required. (Use of a Media Room does not include studying, paper writing and/or group discussions.)
- Food and/or beverages are prohibited.
- Retain your checkout receipt. (Receipt contains date and time due of Media Room Access Key.)
- Media Room Access Keys are In Library Use Only.
- Do not attempt to change any settings or reprogram/uninstall computer software.
- Do not remove furniture (tables or chairs) or audio/visual equipment from the room.
- Do not manually turn off plasma screens or audio/visual equipment in the rooms. (Equipment will be turned on and off by the Circulation Department.)
- Report any damage or malfunctioning equipment immediately to the Circulation Department.
- Media Room Access Keys are due back at the end of your booked time, there is no grace period. Late return of a Media Room Access Key will result in a $5 overdue fine. Additional time will be fined at $5 an hour to a maximum overdue fine of $40.
- Once you are finished using the media equipment, the user (along with all other individuals) will exit the room and ensure that the door closes and locks behind them.
- The user assumes full responsibility for the Media Room and its equipment.
- In the event of loss or damage to the Media Room Access Key or Touch Panel, replacement charges will be assessed as follows:
- $50 for the Media Room Access Key
- $1000 for the Media Room Touch Panel
- The Media Room Access Key must be returned to a Circulation Assistant at the Circulation Desk. Do not leave the key on the circulation counter on place in bookdrops.
- Failure to comply with Media Room policies may result in a suspension of Media Room use privileges.
