Leatherby Libraries Instruction Room Policy

The Leatherby Libraries Instruction Room is intended for library-based instruction to support the Chapman University curriculum. Currently, the room houses 40 computers, one instructor station, and one printer.

Please note that due to the extensive instruction program provided by Leatherby Libraries, requests for the Library’s lab will be directed initially to the computer labs in the basement of the Library, maintained by campus computing, and to other campus facilities. If a one-time use request is approved, the faculty member must meet with a librarian to review room use policies and procedures before the scheduled date. Permanent and recurring scheduling requests cannot be accepted. Requests to use the Library’s lab for the first 2 months of each semester may be denied due to the heavy library instruction schedule.

Please direct all requests to Julie Artman, Coordinator of Information Services at artman@chapman.edu
