Community of Readers is open to everyone who has borrowing privileges at the Leatherby Libraries and a current library account, including students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members who purchase a community library card. Members select books from the Leatherby Libraries and receive prizes upon submission of their first review. The only requirement is that books must be obtained through the Leatherby Libraries. Ready to join? Just follow these easy steps: 1. Select a book from Leatherby Libraries. Click here to search the online catalog. For books not in the Leatherby Libraries collection, you can use our Interlibrary Loan service to get the book from another library. 2. Read the book during the program dates. 3. Submit a brief 2-3 sentence review to the Community of Readers website. Click here to read a sample review. 4. You're a member! 5. Submit more reviews to win more prizes. 1 review - bookmark and pencil 3 reviews - mints 5 reviews = finger puppet 7 reviews - reader's choice (puppet, mug, secret stash) 10 reviews = Choose two 12 reviews = grab bag (created by the committee) 15 reviews = reader's choice + grab bag There will also be monthly prize drawings! Prizes subject to availability; substitutions possible. An end-of-summer party for all members will be held in August. The final prize drawings will be held at the party.
