If you request a book or article that is not available through Leatherby Libraries’ print or electronic collections, we may process your request as an Interlibrary Loan. This means we will try to obtain the item you requested from another library. If we process your request as an Interlibrary Loan, you will be notified via e-mail. Please note, the checkout period for Interlibary Loan books is determined by the lending library. 

To place an Interlibrary Loan request, you will use the same system you use to request items for checkout (ILLiad).  To register for an ILLiad account, go to the Brandman University Borrowing page at http://www1.chapman.edu/library/centers/borrowing.html (see the link "Create an ILLiad Account"). Interlibrary Loan services are only available for currently enrolled students and currently employed faculty and staff.
