Scope and Contents note

The James Roosevelt papers are the gift of Doy and Dee Henley and comprise five photographs of President Franklin D. Roosevelt and one of President Ronald Reagan engaged in a variety of state and historical activities. James Roosevelt was the oldest son of President Franklin D. Roosevelt and Anna Eleanor Roosevelt. He was born in New York City at 125 East 36th Street and attended Harvard University 1926-1930. A California politician and life trustee of Chapman College, Roosevelt Hall is named after him.
