During 2013-2014

The Leatherby Libraries offers programming and exhibits throughout the year that complement and enhance the curriculum, study, and research interests at Chapman. The Art, Exhibits and Events Committee (AEEC) is a dedicated group of library staff who volunteer their time to bring programming to life.   • Uphill and Upside-down: Thirty Years of the Space Shuttle Program: Douglas Dechow, Ph.D., MSLIS Sciences Librarian, Leatherby Libraries
    October 4th from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., in the Doy and Dee Henley Reading Room, 2nd Floor
    From 1981-2011, the Space Shuttle--NASA's Space Transportation System--launched 135 missions into low-earth orbit. Among those missions were stunning successes and catastrophic failures. Doug Dechow discusses his up-close experiences with the final three missions and The Roger and Roberta Boisjoly Challenger Disaster Memorial Collection, now housed in Leatherby Libraries.
