Welcome!

     The Greek community at Chapman University is home to ten national Greek organizations, and represents more than 15% of the undergraduate student population. In accordance with the mission of the University, Greek Life at Chapman presents its members with opportunities and experiences to help them develop in the areas of: leadership, service, social responsibility, character, financial accountability, conflict management, and citizenship.

     In a national study, fraternity/sorority membership was found to be one potential factor which encourages students to stay in college. In addition, Greek affiliation in college was found to contribute positively to community involvement after graduation. Also reported, Greek-affiliated alumni are

more satisfied with their social development during college than non-Greeks.
