NODE 16: The Western Fringes

The Clisham range seen beyond the loch marks the point where the setting moon descends below the horizon. Many researchers have diagrammed elaborate sketches showing the moon "skim" and "re-gleam" as it passes behind and peeks through notches in the distant ranges. Campers on the nearby hillside (note the red tent) await midsummer, one day away when this node was photographed.
