While you're waiting for the next class to begin, our instructors recommend that you find a good quality HR Management textbook and read it cover-to-cover as additional preparation for the exam.

Notes on deferments: (effective January 2009)
Students who need to defer for any reason are permitted to do so under the following conditions:
a. requests must be received no later than 3 weeks past the start date of the class.
b. no additional or updated materials will be provided. New materials may be purchased.
c. only one deferral will be permitted except under extraordinary circumstances.
d. under no circumstances will more than two deferrals be permitted.
e. access to the learnhrm.com site stays available to the student for one year from the original log-in date without interruption.

Notes on incomplete grades: (effective January 2009)
a. students who receive an incomplete grade may return to a subsequent course offering upon payment of a fee, as defined here:
1. classroom sections: $100, space permitting
2. online sections: $300. This is due to additional costs we incur.
b. no additional or updated materials will be provided. New materials may be purchased.
c. access to the learnhrm.com site stays available to the student for one year from the original log-in date without interruption.

Notes on drops: (effective January 2009)
a. requests to drop the course must be received before the second class meeting
b. a $20 processing fee will be deducted from the refund
c. materials not returned in re-sellable condition cannot be fully refunded
d. access to the learnhrm.com site will be disabled.
