Strength-Based Improvisation: Level I Training
Facilitators: Lisa Jackert, MA, MT-BC and Robin Rio, MA, MT-BC

A three day training course providing 24 hours of continuing education (2.4 Continuing Education Units)

Strength-Based Improvisation is a new approach that is geared for participants with any amount of improvisation experience. Participants may use the instrument of their choice, which can include percussion or voice. Non-threatening experiential opportunities are aimed at personal exploration while simultaneously learning approaches to engage clients.

Dates: Friday, August 7, 8 and 9, 2009 (starting and ending time to be announced)

Location: Chapman University, 1 University Drive, Orange, CA 92866, Music Therapy Department, Oliphant Hall Room 204.

Tuition/cost: $330.
