literature for the guitar, lute, and vihuela; includes early lute
and vihuela music of the Renaissance, four- and five-course Baroque

490 Music Therapy Internship
This is a comprehensive
clinical experience provided for students who have completed all
other academic course requirements leading to national board certification
as a music therapist with the American Music Therapy Association.
Students may apply to any hospital, clinic, institution, or school
which has been approved by AMTA and the academic advisor for music
therapy at Chapman University. Each student will be required to
fulfill 1040 hours of clinical music therapy experience over a six-month
period. Specific tasks related to the completion of the three credits
will be defined by the individual institution personnel, primarily
the music therapy clinical director. (Offered every semester.) 3
