CHAPMAN UNIVERSITY ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME

The Chapman University Hall of Fame is dedicated to the memory of the late coach and athletic director, Don Perkins. Founded in 1979, the Hall of Fame honors individuals based on their athletic performance, service to the university, academic achievement and community involvement. Don Perkins served as Chapman's basketball coach for 16 years (1947-48 through 1962-63) and won 213 games. His teams played in six NCAA (college division) tournaments and advanced to the national finals in 1960. Perkins served as athletic director until his death in 1967.
