Academic Technology and Digital Media - Events

The Office of Academic Technology and Digital Media sponsors a broad range of programming geared to helping Chapman faculty incorporate technology into their teaching and research and think about the ways in which technology has and will transform the work of academics. In addition to sponsoring events ourselves, through the Academic Technology Events Calendar, we serve as a clearinghouse for information on open conferences and lectures at our neighboring institutions, with an emphasis on events in the digital humanities. In some cases, we provide a space to watch a live stream of the off-campus talk and provide a venue for discussion afterwards.

We are in the process of preparing our Spring 2012 lecture and workshop schedule. There are already several workshops and open houses scheduled covering the new version of Blackboard that went live on January 2. These workshops are open to both faculty and staff.
